I’m Lindsey,
a non-diet dietitian
Why non-diet?
Through my professional experience, I’ve found that much of the conventionally accepted health advice is unhelpful, and even harmful.
By focusing on individualized goals and positive health changes, you can find relief from the pressures of diet culture, restore your joy with food, and focus on the changes that really matter to you and your life.
You are the expert of you – and I’m here to help!
My approach as a dietitian is informed by several evidenced-based frameworks, including Intuitive Eating, Eating Competence, and Health at Every Size (ASDAH).

Professional details
I hold a master’s degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences and a bachelor’s degree in Biology. I’m a registered dietitian, licensed in Minnesota, with over 12 years of experience. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I am a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), Eating Disorder Registered Dietitians and Professionals (EDRDPro), and Weight Inclusive Nutrition & Dietetics (WIND).
I recently completed a yoga teacher training and look forward to incorporating yoga philosophy and techniques into my services.

Some personal stuff
I get it – I spent far too long entertaining diet culture – wishing for a smaller body, caving to the pressure of “healthy” eating, and being pulled in by the new workout programs. That energy and brain power is so much better spent on something else!
Besides being a dietitian, I love getting outside – especially hiking with the dogs, camping, running, and sitting around a glowing bonfire. Our small herd of chickens provide fresh eggs and comic relief at our home in central Minnesota. I enjoy cooking family recipes, as well as experimenting with new foods. I always have a podcast on (when I’m not re-watching The Office)!
